The Locanda was born from an idea of Gianfranco Elampini and opens in 2007. Together with chef Diego Donatelli, who has become the owner in the meantime, he created a menu that reinterprets the traditional Veronese cuisine in a modern way, including the dishes of fish, with careful sensitivity to the products of the season. The result is an interesting contamination between Diego’s experience of cooking fish and its Veronese origins. The place is cozy, warm, consisting of several more or less spacious rooms, and a special vaulted vaulted ceiling in stone. The garden is open for aperitifs and buffets. The wine list proposes different labels of Valpolicella as well as Valpolicella wines, Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso and Amarone of the Vigna ‘800 farm of Gianfranco Elampini.
