The DOC wines of the Valpolicella are Valpolicella, Valpolicella Superiore, Recioto, and Amarone.
According to the zone in which they are produced, they may be called simply Valpolicella, Valpolicella Classico, or Valpantena, if they are produced in the small Valpantena valley.
